Venessa Arizaga has impressive design credentials: Graduate of Parsons; worked with Carolina Herrera; most recently, design director for Zac Posen. Her exotic yet elegant collection was initially inspired by a trip to Puerto Rico in 2007. She began combining colorful silk threads, natural stones, shells, charms and luxe chains to make bold statement jewelry.

Recently, I have participated in several charm swaps. After the bracelets are assembled they are always fun to wear and a conversation piece. The featured bracelet from Venessa Arizaga is a feast for the eyes…a little bit of ‘everything’. The jewelry on her site has fanciful names…I love Buried Past and Pearls for Girls.
