beeline2‘Celebrated’ designer Bunny Williams has introduced an accessory and furniture line, playfully named Beeline Home…after those hardworking, energetic insects.

I love the simplicity of the embossed plaster panel on the dark wall in the photo. The description of the piece reads “Hand-carved Javanese mango wood, applied in a little village outside of Semarang, near the Java Sea. This bas relief mural depicts a stylized garden reminiscent of the plaster work of the 1930’s. Available in matte, antique white, chalky finish over gesso ground.”…for a mere $3565.

fish mermaids

Aren’t these fun!!! I found the fish and mermaids on the Suzanne Nicoll site. They are carved from weathered picket fences. Love the simple designs and color/design combinations.

This interesting piece is from artisan house. During the last few years we’ve seen an increase in contemporary art in our showroom and at the market…much of it has a ‘retro’ feel.
