The cover of the latest Ornament features whimsical enameled rings from Sarah Hood. Her work has interesting origins: “My enthusiasm for gardening, botany, literature, children’s toys, eastern philosophy, and travel all make their way into my jewelry.” She combines precious metals with rather ordinary materials…coconut shells, model railroad landscape materials, and chestnuts. Check out her blog for a window into her design process.
