The wish book of summer classes for the Penland School of Crafts arrived yesterday…it is kid in a candy store time. Charity Hall is teaching a class entitled Enamel it, Set it! “I am a metalsmith and enamelist with a background in biology. My artwork is based on the tiny intricate details and fascinating biological stories that first captivated me when I studied botany as an undergraduate.”

I am still on a color high!!! Last week was spent at the Penland School of Crafts taking a class appropriately titled ‘Color Mania’. We spent the week ‘playing’ with acrylic, resin, polymer, etching, markers, paper, paper clay. It was kindergarten for adults. One of the artists was wearing this fabulous bracelet from Sobral. My mind is spinning with options to build this bracelet.
