One of the hottest trends in accessory finishes at the Spring High Point Furniture Market was Mercury Glass. In my search for a featured photo I discovered that mercury glass is actually two layers of glass with a fine silver finish between the layers. Mercury is not part of the process at all. I will be looking for Mercury Glass door knobs for my bathroom cabinets…very glam and they bring back memories of my grandparent’s home.
