Twins, Lizzie & Kathryn Fortunato founded their eponymous line in 2008 with the intent of creating unique accessories that use unexpected materials. “Lizzie designs the line, while Kathryn, who got her start on Wall Street, oversees sales and operations. Lizzie studied Art History and English at Duke University (where Kathryn majored in Economics) and her interest in “dressing to tell a story” is reflected in the pieces she creates.”

Kirna Zabete is a SoHo shop that features high-high end designers to more moderate price collections. This is a collaborative between two college sorority sisters who were voted ‘best dressed’ in their class at the University of Virgina.
I love the ‘bubble’ rings from Tre. But, you have the see the fabulous necklaces from Lizzie Fortunato Jewels. The ‘Frivolous Tonight’ has the artistic side of my brain spinning.

Twin sisters, Elizabeth and Kathryn Fortunato, work as a team designing and marketing Lizzie Fortunato Jewels. Elizabeth is the designer…Kathryn does the marketing. “Lizzie Fortunato Jewels draws on the principle that high-end jewelry is not limited to diamonds; the collection features industrial, found, and reclaimed materials in exceptionally fashion- forward designs.”
The bracelet at left is from their exclusive Hope Marian collection for Urban Outfitters. Braided fabric appears to be strong this spring.
