Keith Lewis let’s nature design and define his work. “For me, Nature takes the Gold. I celebrate the materials, textures, flukes and explosions of wonderful brilliance that one finds at any moment Nature is observed and absorbed. Be it jewelry springing from pods growing in the garden or from ocean kelp, twig-like vines as earrings, minerals like mica or silica-rich lava presented preciously because they are just as wonderful as any sapphire, there is a connection to nature on a primal level and that’s why I make this my work.”

Love those wow moments…and the work of Keith Lewis definitely rates a WOW. Keith writes in his bio: “The design concept at the heart of nearly all my designs is a simple shape in a moveable (kinetic) format. Nearly every finding is handmade to enhance this movement; an earwire allows a shape to rotate, a connector will swivel, a loop will act as a hinge. The handmade earwires allowed me to develop my signature earring, which is designed to fasten closed.”
