deshoulieres1The new Veranda magazine arrived over the weekend. It is fun to explore categories that we do not carry in the showroom. This issue has a feature on tabletop design. I was fascinated by the gold/chocolate/turquoise color scheme from Deshoulieres. Unfortunately, the link does not show the depth of the color combination. kate-spadeIt is a dark gray day here in Ohio. This dinnerware from Kate Spade brightened my day…and hopefully yours as well. I have admired Kate Spade for years. Her designs are so clean and crisp…many are just the repetition of a single element.*

If you go to her website you can download a pdf that features all of the patterns in her dinnerware collection. HAVE FUN!!!

*(Kate went to high school with my sister in Kansas City, MO. The day after graduation she left for New York.)
