InStyle has a trend article about the color cinnamon. “A cross between rusty red and earthy tan, this spicy shade added richness to the spring runways.” So many of the fashions featured this spring are pairing cinnamon with azure. What a wonderful combination.

The featured photo is from Diane Von Furstenberg. (An aside…DVF is known for wonderful fabric patterns. The spring collection is full of inspiration for canes.)

There were so many designs to feature on the Elle Super Fly trend report I could not stop with one or two. So sit down and enjoy a trip to the tropics. Think of warm beaches, exotic birds and color everywhere…

I love the way the colors move through this dress from Diane Von Furstenburg. Ruffles are everywhere this year. My mind is spinning with ideas for ruffling polymer in the these bright jewel tones.

I was thrilled to find a photo from Roberto Cavalli. I have admired his designs for months but never found a photo to feature. There are some interesting items in the Bijoux section of his online store.
