Cande Toner had a rather unusual route to the title of ‘artist’. “Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, we moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2008 to work on an Alpaca ranch. We have since moved from the ranch to an area surrounded by artists. We were immediately drawn to the arts community here in Santa Fe. Our studio overlooks a gorgeous high desert garden area and is a few steps to mountain views and guaranteed rainbows after each afternoon rain. All of our work is hand made in this beautiful setting.”
