Cynthia Chuang and her husband, Tsai Erh-ping, immigrated from Taiwan to study in the US at Parsons School of Design. They started making jewelry in their apartment using a small electric kiln…hiding it from their landlord who complained about the mysteriously high electric bills. “In every whimsical creature, our goal is to achieve our ABC’s: Artistry, Beauty, and Character. Our hand-made, one-of-a-kind designs are inspired by our love for nature originating from our home country of Taiwan. With over 25 years of experience in porcelain and metal, we have perfected our unique color clay inlay and high-fired porcelain techniques. The 3-D wire and bead constructions are added after. We want every design to have it’s own personality while properly representing its natural magnificence.”
