I was intrigued by this loosely ‘woven’ bracelet. I found myself drawn to the structure as much as the combination of gold, rose gold, diamonds and black rhodium. The cuff is part of Antonini’s Milan Collection. The site if full of great design elements. Check out the pendant in the Barcelona New Mood Collection (sixth from the left). Love the ‘stack’ effect.

In a feature entitled CRYSTAL ROCKS on page 45 of the February Town & Country the page is ‘littered’ with cyrstals. ( Of course there are a few diamonds and pearls thrown in for accents.) The bracelet from H. Stern’s cobblestone collection is the centerpiece. For a mere $18,500 this little bauble can be yours.

While I was searching for a photo of the cobbleston bracelet I ran across the feather bracelet. I had to share this one as well. It reminds me of the necklace from Wednesday’s post.

Earlier this year I featured fabric inspired by Tony Duquette. The December Town & Country has an interesting article about the fanciful jewelry of tony Duquette. I like the fabric…I LOVE the jewelry. I was unable to find a photo of the necklace he created for the Duchess of Windsor in the 5o’s. It is well worth the time to find the December Town & Country and look at page 131.

The majority Tony Duquette’s jewelry was created decades ago. As I scrolled through the pages of his jewelry I realized his designs are timeless.

molly-simsI must be in a bling and/or cuff mode this week. Friday’s post featured an ebony & crystal cuff from Swarovski. Today, it is rose gold & crystals from Grayce. Grayce is a new jewelry line designed by model & actress, Molly Sims. Her designs are inspired by jewelry from the 1920’s and…for a change…affordable. The featured cuff is $90. You will not find a web site for Molly Sims but the jewelry will be sold by HSN this fall.

swarovski-ebonyI love the contradiction in the Ginseng Ebony Bangle by Swarovski.  A smooth, quiet ebony surface paired with the energy of Swarovski crystals. The bangle pages of the Swarovski site feature bracelets of all sizes, shapes and degree of bling.

A recent ad from Framburg Lighting featured three lights with a bit of bling. The lamp on the left is accented by Swarovski crystals. The lamps in the center and right are accented by ‘lace’ glass to create the sparkle. Lace glass is a form of fused glass.

Tory-BurchWhat an interesting combination!!! Several months ago I featured necklaces with ribbon closures. Feather & crystal necklaces from the Tory Burch fall line also use this closure. To quote Tory Burch…“Layer the textures and materials and make jewelry your own”. Great advice for all of us in our creative process.

curreyWe are continuing our ‘Bubble’ theme. Currey & Company is one of the lighting resources for our trade showroom. This chandelier would definitely be a conversation starter in any room.

I love the description:“Tight spiral design in a pendant shape is finished with hand-applied silver leaf and hand-blown glass balls in graduated sizes. SCCCC Delicate blown glass hung on a spiraling metal frame creates a sophisticated pendant with “just right” proportions. The metal frame work is finished in “Contemporary Silver Leaf” to complement the lightness of the glass.”

stuarthaygarthI think that is a good description of the light fixtures from Stuart Haygarth. I found the featured item in an ad for a trade periodical. It looks like a jumble of shapes, colors and textures…it is called Tide.  Be sure to read the description…very interesting.
I am also linking to the light fixture made of party poppers. This fixture would definitely be a conversation piece where ever it is placed.
