From Elle Decor…“Spotted everywhere…colorful and cheery updates of the timeless pattern that everyone loves.” Polka Dots may not be one of your favorite design elements, but what if diamonds were the polka dots? This ring from Verdura features diamonds on a bed of turquoise…nice combination. (The beautiful cuff you see on the home page is the iconic bracelet that was designed for Coco Chanel.)

Coco Chanel ignited the cuff craze in 1937 when she began wearing a cuff designed by Fulco Santostefano della Cerda, Duke of Verdura.
“Chanel, already at the height of her fame, hired Verdura as her head textile designer. There he began, in 1927, an eight-year collaboration with her at the Chanel atelier. Quickly noticing Verdura’s talents as a jewelry designer, Chanel commissioned him to help her create her boutique jewelry collection, as well as to rework much of her own personal jewelry.” The featured cuff is one of the most famous pieces from their collaboration.
