In the last year, one the hottest trends in jewelry is a ring that is similar to a stirrup…a curve of metal with a focal piece suspended between the two posts. In the September Town and Country, there is a ring with a ball of diamonds suspended between the gold posts from Bottega Veneta called the Dome ring. (For a mere $42,500 it can be yours!) The featured ring is a similar style with only the band of diamonds. (Unfortunately, a photo of the Dome ring was not available…anywhere!!!)

A fall fashion photo spread featured the ‘wild ones’…jewel encrusted bugs, reptiles and serpents in precious metals. The centerpiece of the photo is a fabulous scarab cuff from Bottega Veneta’s Nature in Fashion collection. I plan on featuring several more of the ‘creepy-crawlies’ in the next few weeks.
Isn’t This Fun?

Orange is everywhere. This fun ring from Bottega Veneta is a lead in to a wonderful collection of jewelry. I spent a great deal of time searching for a photo of a lucite necklace in fuchsia, lime and orange…to no avail…BUMMER!!! Oh Well!!! The link will take you to Bottega Veneta Cruise 2009/2010. Great designs…great colors…and orange-orange-orange.
