If your children don’t live near you…they should live in interesting places. Luckily, our daughter and her family live in Asheville, NC. After watching the Craft in America Holiday episode, I knew where we would spend December 26th…The Grove Park Inn!!! The Gingerbread House Competition is spread throughout the majority of the Inn…interspersed with beautiful Christmas decorations. Each house is comprised of 100% edible elements and must be 75% gingerbread. The Pandas were the grand prize winner…but our favorite was the toy factory.
We are back in not so interesting Ohio now…with visions of ‘sugarplums’ still dancing in our heads.
