I celebrate the materials, textures, flukes and explosions of wonderful brilliance that one finds at any moment Nature is observed and absorbed. Be it jewelry springing from pods growing in the garden or from ocean kelp, twig-like vines as earrings, minerals like mica or silica-rich lava presented preciously because they are just as wonderful as any sapphire, there is a connection to nature on a primal level and that’s why I make this my work.”
