Melissa Stiles’ graduated with a degree in architecture…because she was told she couldn’t do it. She moved to the southwest…because everyone she knew lived in the east. After taking a class in metalsmithing she began working on her jewelry in the garage, eventually giving up her ‘day’ job to become a full time jewelry artist…and mother of two…in Portland Oregon. The name of her jewelry collection is appropriately named…STUBBORN WORKS.
