chART is the name of a jeweler who uses…you guessed it…charts in her designs. “To escape the corporate frenzy and to feed her “bead addiction,” Co-Owner of CHART metalworks, Charlotte Leavitt, began creating jewelry in 2002. In 2006, Charlotte, seeking to turn hobby to profession, became concerned that her jewelry was not unique enough for the market.  She closed up her studio and sought inspiration.  A long time sailor, one day, surrounded by scrolls of nautical charts in her home, the idea of embedding nautical charts in resin surfaced.”
