Mary Donald uses her eye as a jeweler to practice hunting and gathering. “I collect a variety of materials and even detritus plus remnants and miscellany from natural and other resources, carrying it back to the studio where it’s examined and then used to create body adornment, objects and sculpture”
The site is full of ‘intriguing’ designs and materials, which made deciding which item to feature VERY difficult. Take some time to move from section to section in the portfolio…it is worth it!!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I LOVE finding artists that push the materials envelope…makes me look at the world with a fresh perspective. Of course, it also inhibits my ability to dispose of anything.
