Ornamental Elements

Caroline Viene’s work is inspired by the varying shapes of nature as she walks through the wooded lake area near her home. “In my art, the shapes and colors originate from my memories and my imagination. I begin with sketches. This process is further enhanced by images in nature. I incorporate precious and semi-precious stones, exotic hard woods, prehistoric ivories and natural treasures that I find.”
