Ornamental Elements

After being laid off from two jobs Sharon Rosenthal decided it was time to turn her avocation into a vocation. She has been a full time artist for 11 years and a long-time exhibitor at the American Craft Council shows. She scours flea markets, antique shops and bead shows for unusual pieces…many with a ‘history’…antlers, seed pods, wood and laminate. “The exciting thing about working with found objects is getting things to come together and finding the right balance. The materials have to speak for themselves.”
