Ornamental Elements

Myung Urso, a native of South Korea, learned to work with natural materials at a very early age. She grew up during a time when her country was struggling to recover from the ravages of war and become westernized. In school she was taught the western way of life, at home she learned the traditional Korean customs. Her studies included biology, fiber, and later museum and gallery management. It has only been in the last four years that she has been creating jewelry. As a former curator, she has a unique perspective.
