The simplicity of Ann Brooks designs is captivating. As I moved from page to page I found myself studying each piece. In some cases the elements are repeated in a series. In others, the materials used as the mechanics became a powerful background to support a dynamic focal piece.

In addition to her work as a jeweler, Ann Brooks has traveled the world as a photo journalist. A trip with her grandmother to North Africa as a teenager created her love of exotic places and an appreciation of how beads form a common thread in all cultures.
