When I was growing up I was soooooooooooo disappointed that opal was my birthstone. I wanted diamonds, sapphires or rubies…any thing that glittered. Now, in a more ‘mature’ stage of my life, I appreciate the unique qualities of the stone and the myriad of colors available.
The beautiful watch from Dior is one of five in a limited edition. The face is an Australian Black Opal and for a mere $56,000 it can be yours.
Opal is my birthstone as well; however, I don’t have the $56K to buy this beauty!
Isn’t that opal beautiful. I’m not sure I’ve seen one with as much red before. Usually there is just a hint of red.
