Ornamental Elements

The engineering genes in my family are always directing my creative mind. Most of my work is fairly balanced and constrained. I try to deviate from this direction on occasion…my Fiesta Necklaces were a huge leap. But the appeal of repetitive design elements calls my name every time. Page 278 of the November InStyle is covered with ornate jewelry but I was drawn to a set of bracelets with simple repetitive motifs by Linda Levinson . The Vis-A-Vis Nantucket site, where I found the photo, is a treasure trove of inspiration…HAVE FUN!!!
