The Spring 2010 Gucci collection features Ikat pattern fabric. This timeless design element is also a favorite of the polymer world. I love the color combination of the the featured photo. Orange seems to be the ‘hot’ color for Spring. Later this week we’ll see some very ‘interesting’ orange designs.
Even though I’m in South Carolina we are setting cold temperature records this week. The pink and white ikat makes me think of warm summer days. Spring arrives in February in South Carolina…only 25 more days.
Ornamental Elements 
Whew! We just finished painting the kitchen “orange.” It’s growing on me, so I’m glad there will be more of it this spring to choose accessories. Side note, Laurie: the color was picked by my ID student Maria – good sign!?!
Maria was ‘right on’ with the color choice!!! When did you find time to paint the kitchen…do you ever sleep?
