Striking & Pricey!!! When they say “price upon request” I know it is not in my budget. The beautiful scarf is from Herme. We have traveled to Herme before but it is worth another visit. The perfect accessory for the scarf is a vintage necklace from Bulgari. We may not be able to own them…but we can certainly appreciate their beauty.

I was scrolling through the Versace Spring Collection and initially, I was drawn to some great black and white patterns until I saw #45 out of 48. You can see why turquoise is such a strong color this season…smashing!!!

Striking Combination

I have been flipping through magazines for the last week. Typically, I dog-ear a page and then move on. But one page made me stop and pause…an ad for Derek Lam. The ad wasn’t as striking as the color combination…purple with a touch of turquoise. The turquoise really pops off the page. Unfortunately, this photo is a little ho-hum. If you ‘hang around’ on the home page it will scroll to the ad photo.

Here are your options. Would you rather purchase this ring from Tournaire depicting the Paris skyline or for the same price take 14 round-trip flights to Paris? Gives you the idea of the price of the ring. BTW…the Eiffel Tower is the ring shank.

The bracelet at left is from their exclusive Hope Marian collection for Urban Outfitters. Braided fabric appears to be strong this spring.

Lightening Strike

Erickson Beamon is a collaborative between Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon. The pair began designing jewelry more than 20 years ago when they couldn’t find anyone to loan them gems for a friend’s New York runway show. Necessity is definitely the mother of invention in this case. I’ve included the Erickson Beamon web link…but the Polyvore site offers better photos.
