Or…where was the muse last winter????
Last winter I had the luxury of time to “play with clay” yet, spent very little time in the studio because there was no creative spark. Now its summer…yard work, long weekends with friends, work commitments and my head is spinning with ideas.
I was able to find some studio time with the three day weekend. The alcohol inks were again calling my name. This is in the early stages…but shows promise. I won’t have any studio time for about three weeks…but when I do I’m going to explore some more options.
That’s the way it works with creative ideas. Seems like when you are super busy your brain is more ‘open’ to creativity… when your are bored, relaxed or under challenged, your muse takes a break too!
