Typically, the word production brings a scowl to an artist’s face. Unfortunately, it is a necessary evil if you sell your work.
10 days ago Debbie Jackson called and asked if I would take her space in the Studios on High Gallery for two weeks. This is such a fabulous opportunity…how could I say no…even though I didn’t have a thing ready for the exhibit.
Countless hours later I finally had enough to at least ‘open’ the space. I’m still working on product.
For those of you not familiar with Columbus, Ohio…the Studies on High are located in the Short North. Just a stones throw away for downtown and the convention center. It is a destination shopping area…great restaurants, stores, galleries etc. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the central Ohio area.
Luckily, I have a new technique that works well with the lighter summer colors…of course it features alcohol inks. I was in experimental mode until Debbie called. Experimentation came to an abrupt end!!!

A great technique – I like the colour mixes.
